Japanese electronics manufacturer Sony has unveiled its flagship phone called the Xperia 1 VII, in its country of origin on May 13. The phone combines Sony Walkman, TV, and camera technology into one under budget-friendly Sony Xperia 1 VII price. It's powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 elite processor, comes with a 48MP ultra-wide angle camera, and comes with the battery capacity of 5,000 mAh.
In the past, Sony Xperia 1 VII launch smartphones only in certain markets outside of Japan as well it is expected that the Xperia 1 VII is expect to follow in the footsteps of previous models.
The phone comes in 256GB RAM/12GB RAM storage and 12GB RAM plus storage of 512GB, and 16GB plus 500GB of storage options. The smartphone's color options include Moss Green, Orchid Purple and Slate Black.
The Sony Xperia 1VII specs are sports a 6.5-inch OLED Full HD+ display that can reach 120 Hz refresh. It comes with its Qualcomm snapdragon 8 Elite system-on-chip (SoC) and comes with 16GB or more of memory as well as up to 512 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded to 2TB using microSD. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor that is mounted on the side.
Equipped with a 48MP ultra-wide lens, the Sony Xperia 1 VII features boasts upgraded sensors that surpass those of the previous model. It comes with the 1/1.56-inch Exmor RS sensor underneath that it claims it is 2.1x bigger than the sensor in the model before it. There’s no change to the camera hardware: the main 48MP sensor remains the 1/1.35-inch Exmor T, and the 12MP telephoto lens continues with the 1/3.5-inch Exmor RS sensor. On the front, there's the 12MP camera lens, which is used to take selfies, video calls and much more.
In terms of audio, it comes with AI-powered DSEE Ultimate upscaling, along with support for Hi-Res, LDAC and Dolby Atmos format. It is the Sony Xperia 1 VII has an 3.5mm audio jack, as well as Full-Stage stereo speaker for audio output.
